The Finance manager Chris was super nice, and very efficient as well. I really appreciate the entire Boyd Chevrolet dealership, next time I'm in the market for a Chevy I will call Lee first.
I had not bought a car from the Boyds in 20 years. Ashlee was my sales person and made the process simple. I was able to provide the documents on line, and did not have to spend very much time in closing the deal. No hard sell, options were explained clearly, and warrantee forever made me feel secure buying my used car!

Steven and the Mech Crew are just awesome. They take care of all 3 of my cars. Steven even helped me pick out a better car bc he thought it would make my life easier as I am physically disabled. Un-predictable and expensive things happen with cars. You don’t get better than a lifetime warranty. Steven you are stuck with me until you help pick out my hearse! It will drop off coffee and donuts for your guys first though. Mr. Brown and the sales group, I thank you for being normal and not insane-sales-stalkers and handling all the paperwork. People do yourself a favor and just let Boyd handle it.

Over the Top ServiceOn September 29, 2023 my wife & I were traveling to Hilton Head, SC for a family wedding the following day. Just south of Asheville I received a warning message on my Cadillac Xt5 indicating that my "steering assist was reduced drive carefully". I had received this message before. Not knowing exactly what it meant I googled it and found out that in most cases it meant an open thermostat problem that is common with that engine and that it should be covered under my powertrain warranty. I had taken my vehicle into a dealer by my home in Michigan to have the problem repaired. They told me it wasn’t a thermostat problem but rather a coolant issue that cost $1,600 to repair. Needless to say I wasn’t very happy about that but authorized the repair. Upon receiving the message a second time I was sure the problem was the thermostat. I ask my wife to contact the nearest GM dealer which happened be Boyd GMC in Hendersonville, NC. We called their service department and explained the issue to their service rep, Randy, as well as the fact that we had to be in Hilton Head that evening. He said to bring it and they would see what they could do. Randy was there to meet us when we pulled into the service bay. Using his OBD he confirmed that it was a code #P128 thermostat problem. He checked with his parts department to confirmed that they had the parts to make the repair and also confirmed that the cost of the repair was covered by my powertrain warranty. He then told us that because we had been driving for a while the engine was hot and it had to cool before they could work on it and it may take approximately 4 hrs to make the repair. Of course I authorized the repair. My wife and I settled in for the wait.Approximately 2 hours later Randy came into the waiting area to tell us that our vehicle was ready. To say we were surprised and delighted would be an understatement. Randy explained that knowing our circumstances they put a fan on the engine to help cool the engine faster and assigned one of their best mechanics to do the work. We really couldn’t believe it. We were so fortunate to have gone to Boyd GMC. We arrive in Hilton Head at 5PM in time to have dinner with our friends and family.We want to acknowledged Randy and the Boyd service team for a job well done. They went over and above for us and we truly appreciated it. Thank you so much.Best regards,The McDonalds

Good customer service is so hard to find; but look No further! My Cadillac Escalade had been to two different shops a total of four times and no one could find the problem. My 83 years old mom said "take it to Boyds they'll fix it" , and sure enough they did! Randy, Steven, Joey and the whole crew was excellent! We are so grateful to you all not only for your skills but your kindness and compassion. I was able to drive to Canada, pick up my grandkids, take them to Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach and back to Canada!!! You guys are AWESOME !!! McKinney Chevrolet Buick in Gastonia need to take lessons from Boyd Chevrolet Buick. We have been dealing with Carmax for over 20 years but school vacation would've been over before they could even work us in. Boyd's had us in and out before getting an appointment with Carmax.
